E-cigarettes will be included in the Illinois smoking ban starting January 1st
Starting from January 1st, 2022, vaping enthusiasts in Illinois will need to exercise caution when using e-cigarettes. The state’s HB 1540 will broaden the scope of the 2008 Smokefree Illinois Act to incorporate electronic smoking devices, thereby prohibiting their usage in all public spaces where traditional smoking is already disallowed.
