Temperatures in Southern California are beginning to cool off after a steamy Tuesday.
Temperatures in most areas will fall to the low 70s or 60s on Wednesday, then drop a few more degrees later in the week.
The peak temperature in Los Angeles and Orange counties will be approximately 73 degrees on Wednesday, with temperatures dropping into the 60s later in the week.
The valleys and the Inland Empire may expect similar conditions, with a high temperature of 78 degrees.
The high temperature will be 65 degrees, with occasional clouds and 2-4 foot surf.
The weather in the mountains will be cool and breezy, with a high of 58 during the day and a low of 31 tonight.
The deserts will have a high of 74 degrees with occasional breezes and a low of 36 degrees overnight. By the weekend, temperatures in desert areas will be in the 50s.
