Man dies in hospital after being discovered with gunshot wounds on the Westside of Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Florida – Saturday, a man died after being transported to the hospital with “at least one” gunshot wound, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The police responded to the 4200 Melrose Avenue area on the west side of the city at 2:00 p.m. The victim was discovered near the road.
JSO stated that the investigation is in its infancy and that he could not provide any additional information. The only information provided about the victim was that he was an adult male.
