Temporary closure of popular pizzeria known for authentic Chicago-style pies
The doors of an East Side pizzeria, famous for its Chicago-style deep dish pizzas, have been shut down suddenly and temporarily.
Mama Nancy’s has recently announced on their Facebook page that they will be temporarily closed.
A representative from Mama Nancy’s recently announced that the restaurant is currently closed. In a statement to 614Now on Sunday, they advised customers to keep an eye out for updates on their Facebook page. The representative also expressed gratitude for the support received from patrons.
According to a Facebook post by the eatery, it has temporarily closed down. The post from Mama Nana’s reads, “Mama Nana’s is temporarily closed. More info to come. Thank you for all your support!”

Located at 3495 E. Broad St., the pizzeria first opened its doors in late 2021. The concept is named after a late friend who provided an authentic Chicago deep-dish pizza recipe.
