According to the NYPD, a tragic incident occurred on Sunday in the Bronx where a man was fatally shot while sitting inside his car.
According to reports, law enforcement officials were summoned to Popham Avenue in response to a shooting incident. Upon their arrival, they discovered Andres Jose Gomez Rodriguez, who was 47 years old, in an SUV with gunshot injuries to his abdomen.
After the incident, Rodriguez was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals confirmed his death.
As of now, there have not been any arrests made.
