Accident involving a school bus reported on I-10 East near New Orleans East
According to the New Orleans Police Department, a collision took place involving a school bus carrying 23 children on I-10 East in the New Orleans East vicinity on Monday morning. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries among the passengers.
Around 9 a.m., there was a collision between a school bus and another vehicle, resulting in the brief blockage of the eastbound lanes of I-10 near Downman Road.
After the collision, the vehicles were moved to the intersection of Downman Road and Chef Mentuer Highway. The children involved in the incident were then relocated to another bus. Although the police did not disclose what school the children attend, they did not provide any further details at the time.
