Fatal crash on Manhattan’s Henry Hudson Parkway as a man on a Vespa collides with a guardrail
According to the authorities, a male individual who was riding a Vespa lost his life in a tragic accident on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Manhattan on Sunday. The incident occurred when the victim crashed into a guardrail, resulting in his unfortunate demise. The police are investigating the matter, and further details are yet to be released.
According to police reports, the victim was riding his 2009 Vespa, powered by gas, heading south when he lost control near the George Washington Bridge around 2:30 a.m.
While driving on the parkway’s right lane near exit 14 in Washington Heights, he ended up hitting a guardrail.
According to authorities, the individual involved in the incident was not wearing a helmet at the time.
He was quickly transported to Harlem Hospital by medical professionals, but unfortunately, they were unable to save him.
The man didn’t have any identification on him, and law enforcement officials are currently trying to establish his identity.
