Breaking News: Following a head-on collision in Cedar Rapids, a driver was charged with OWI
Emergency crews were dispatched to the 200 block of E Post Rd in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday in response to a report of a two-vehicle accident.
According to officials, the crash resulted in injuries to both drivers and a passenger in the Toyota. Fortunately, their injuries were not life-threatening, and they were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
28-year-old Uriah Johnson was identified as the driver of the Lincoln. Johnson is facing charges of Operating While Intoxicated and was cited for Improper Use of Lanes.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
