Inmate dies in Jefferson City’s Algoa Correctional Center
A prisoner at Algoa Correctional Facility was declared dead at 4:50 p.m. on December 20th.
A prisoner at the Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City passed away on Wednesday afternoon.
Sean Lyytinen, 37, was pronounced dead at the facility at 4:50 p.m. on December 20, according to a release from the Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC).
Lyytinen had been under the custody of the MDOC since July 5, 2023. He was serving a five-year sentence from Webster County for possession of a controlled substance.
