Iowa City Police Need Public Help Finding Man Harassing Junior High Students on Court Hill Trail

The incident seems to have taken place on the Court Hill Trail on September 13, 2023, at approximately 8:30 a.m. Currently, the authorities are actively searching for the man and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating him.
According to reports, the man had allegedly pursued the students and proceeded to make inappropriate comments as they arrived at the entrance of a nearby cemetery. It was revealed that one of the students had encountered the man on the same trail prior to this incident. The authorities are now stepping up their search operations in the surrounding vicinity.
According to reports, the individual believed to be responsible is said to be a Caucasian man in his early thirties, sporting red hair and a beard. He is described as slender, standing approximately 6 feet in height, and was last seen wearing a black pair of sweatpants and an orange hoodie.
