Manhunt underway for Montgomery bank robbery suspect
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – According to recent reports, Montgomery authorities are currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, a robbery occurred at around 2:25 p.m. in the 2700 block of Bell Road. Although the department does not disclose the type of businesses involved, a WSFA 12 News team discovered numerous police vehicles outside the Metro City Bank in the area.
Maj. Saba Coleman reported that an individual, who has not yet been identified, entered the premises and demanded money before leaving on foot. No one was hurt during the incident and as of now, no arrests have been made.
Law enforcement is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect, as details on their appearance are currently unclear. If you have any information, please contact authorities promptly.
