NYPD: Shooting in Brownsville leaves 17-year-old with head injury

A 17-year-old boy in Brownsville was shot in the head on Sunday at approximately 3:30 p.m., according to the police.

A video from the Citizen App showed first responders at the scene, specifically between Chester Street and Livonia Avenue.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and is currently in critical condition, according to the latest update from News 12.

Authorities were still in the process of determining the identity of any potential suspects involved in the shooting incident.
