Quando Rondo was arrested on federal narcotics charges in his hometown of Savannah, Georgia on Friday night, according to the Savannah Police Department and the Atlanta FBI.
The 24-year-old rapper, whose actual name is Tyquian Terrel Bowman, was arrested by Savannah police about midnight after being pulled over in a car.
Bowman was detained without incident, according to ABC Savannah station WJCL. He was a passenger in the vehicle, and no one else was apprehended at the time.
According to a representative for the Atlanta FBI Field Office, a criminal complaint will be filed in the Southern District of Georgia. According to Rolling Stone, Bowman is scheduled to appear in court next week.
