The Location in Question Linked to Both a Federal Criminal Case and a Mysterious Death
In Wellsville’s small village, federal law enforcement officials conducted a surprise raid at 296 Scott Avenue last month. Now, several agents have returned to the property dressed in complete hazmat suits to carry out a more thorough search and gather additional evidence.
Neighbors were startled from their sleep in the wee hours of the morning by the sound of flash grenades in early August. A property search was conducted by federal agents, who found the home empty and confiscated evidence. Although reports of a suspicious death at the property had surfaced, the exact reason for the search was not immediately clear.
After a span of ten days, the Buffalo News and the Wellsville Sun unveiled a story that had connections with a federal criminal case and a late exotic dancer. As per the report, Crystal Quinn was found dead a few days before the FBI raid. Quinn happened to be a witness in the federal case against a Buffalo man, marking the second witness to die while Paul Gerace Jr awaits trial.
