School bus driver in Virginia Beach stabbed; parent arrested
Monday afternoon, a Virginia Beach school bus driver was injured during an altercation with a parent, according to WAVY. Approximately 3:30 p.m., police were notified of an incident in the 500 block of S. Independence Boulevard.
During the altercation, a parent, according to a Virginia Beach Police Department spokesperson, stabbed the bus driver in the hand with a knife. The injured driver was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Police affirmed that there were no children on the bus at the time of the incident. Wednesday, police confirmed that Keonta Craddock, 30, was apprehended and charged with malicious wounding.
