Triple homicide in Highbridge Park: Man, woman, and dog killed by gunfire, say police
On Friday evening, tragedy struck when a woman, her boyfriend, and their beloved dog were fatally shot outside Highbridge Park. The incident left the community in mourning for the loss of three precious lives. According to authorities, Jaqueline Billini, 57, and Levaughn Harvin, 42, were walking with their Pitbull at approximately 6:30 pm when they were shot at West 165th Street and Edgecombe Avenue. The police are currently investigating the incident.
Just a few months ago, Billini was subjected to a terrifying attack in her own home by a man wielding a hammer. According to reports, she sustained a broken arm while defending herself against the intruder’s attempt to gain entry.
According to the authorities, the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing and no arrests have been made as of yet.
