UPS is hiring 10,000 seasonal employees across Southern California before the holiday season.
Seasonal positions are available on a part-time and full-time basis, with the majority consisting of delivery drivers, package handlers, and Commercial Driver’s License drivers.
According to the company, nearly 80 per cent of available positions do not require an interview. UPS stated that most applicants’ online application process will take less than 20 minutes, beginning to end.
The minimum hourly wage for package handlers and driver assistants is $21. Jobs as a driver will begin at $23 per hour.
Ahead of the holiday rush, the delivery company announced on Tuesday that it will hire over one hundred thousand seasonal workers nationwide. Seasonal employees are available for a variety of shifts.
Additionally, permanent positions are available in certain areas for early applicants, according to the company.
