2 shot inside vehicle near elementary school in Colorado Springs on Tuesday evening

Authorities are currently investigating a shooting incident in southern Colorado.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the Colorado Springs Police Department received a report of a shooting on Wolf Valley Drive, near Research and Black Forest Road. According to authorities, two individuals were shot while inside their vehicle at Legacy Peak Elementary School. It is important to note that the school is currently on winter break.

According to the police, they discovered the vehicle on Black Forest Road. Fortunately, the victims were promptly transported to the hospital, where they are anticipated to make a full recovery.

As of Wednesday morning, authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the incident. We will continue to provide updates on this matter as more information becomes available.
