28-year-old man was pushed onto NYC subway tracks without reason

According to authorities, a man was pushed onto the subway tracks by a stranger in a lower Manhattan station on Wednesday morning. This senseless attack is just one of many unsettling incidents to occur in the city’s subway system.

According to officials, the assailant assaulted the victim without any provocation or warning while the victim was standing on the southbound Nos. 4/5 platform at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station at approximately 10:15 a.m.

According to authorities, the commuter was transported to NYC Health+Hospitals/Bellevue by EMTs and is currently in stable condition.

According to authorities, the suspect is assumed to be in his 20s and dressed in black attire.

After leaving the station, he went into hiding and was still on the run throughout Wednesday afternoon.

Just two weeks after a 30-year-old woman was pushed into a moving E train, leaving her in critical condition, another unprovoked attack took place.
