Woman in Georgia decorates her home with 50 Christmas trees
BUFORD, Ga. – Some people enjoy Christmas, while others absolutely adore it.
A woman from Georgia has earned the nickname “Crazy Tree Lady” for her exceptional efforts during the holiday season.
“Crazy, right!? The name fits!” exclaimed Shasta Rodgers with pride. “You’ve got to be out of your mind to have all these trees, don’t you think!?”
Her home is adorned with an impressive collection of 50 intricately decorated trees.
Rodgers proudly shared, “I did 42 last year, but I managed to find some on sale, so now I have a collection of 50.”
She does all of this for fun, as the glow of Christmas lights in her home brings her joy and warmth.
“It brings me so much joy and happiness because every tree is a unique creative process. Each one challenges my imagination and pushes me to explore new possibilities,” she expressed. “I love shopping after the season when everything is heavily discounted. I find treasures at 75 percent off, sometimes even 90 percent off. Then, I start visualizing how I can transform those items into a beautiful tree.”
Rodgers generously welcomes her friends and family into her home, creating an inviting atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
“It has taken us 21 years to reach this point,” she remarked. “The journey has been long and challenging, which is why they will remain in place until March.”
