HPD: Accident causes fatal shooting near Missouri City
Two men, according to Houston police, opened fire on a vehicle near Missouri City on Monday afternoon, killing the driver of a silver Mercedes. It occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on Blueridge Road near West Fuqua Street.
Witnesses reported multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, followed by the sound of gunfire.
The Houston Police Department reported that two suspects in a white Volkswagen SUV opened fire on a Mercedes before crashing into a tree. According to HPD, they abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
