Assault in parking lot near I-25 leaves Person hospitalized
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), an individual was transported to the hospital following an assault at a business located off of I-25 on Sunday, Dec. 17.
On Sunday evening, around 8:45 p.m., the CSPD received a call regarding an assault that took place in a parking lot near 400 West Fillmore Street, close to I-25 and Mark Dabling Boulevard. According to the police, an employee of a business confronted a theft suspect, resulting in the suspect allegedly striking the employee with their vehicle.
