Antelope Valley Ballet is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of special activities and performances.
Antelope Valley dance, founded in 1998, has evolved from humble beginnings into a thriving community dance company, showcasing local talent and cultivating a profound respect for the art form. The company has touched the hearts of numerous people throughout the years, bringing the beauty and grace of ballet to the Antelope Valley.
The special events allow both seasoned ballet fans and newbies to experience the beauty of dancing.
The following are some of the anniversary season’s highlights:
- Experience the magic of the holiday season with “The Nutcracker” on Dec 9-10, a timeless classic featuring a fresh cast of dancers of all ages, set against the backdrop of festive joy and accompanied by the enchanting music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
- Mark your calendars for Contemporary Dance 11 on Feb 16, an evening that celebrates emerging choreographers and dancers. The performance will showcase the artistic fusion of contemporary dance and the ballet rendition of Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book,” presented through captivating storytelling.
- Don’t miss our Spring Performance on May 11-12, featuring the delightful comic ballet “Coppelia” set in a charming Austrian village. This beloved classical piece promises an enchanting and uplifting experience suitable for audiences of all ages.
