Candidate for FDNY dies while participating in training exercise
In New York, a tragic incident occurred during a training run for a candidate of FDNY, resulting in their untimely death. Despite the efforts made, the candidate could not be saved.
Last week, Alexander Griffin suffered from an unknown medical issue while on a run at Randall’s Island, according to the Fire Department. He collapsed during the incident.
After being taken to Metropolitan Hospital, Griffin tragically passed away.
As per insiders, Griffin was required to complete a run as a part of his physical fitness evaluation before securing a position in the upcoming academy session.
