Breaking News: Cause of death for 16-year-old Edna cheerleader disclosed
Last week, the cause of death for a 16-year-old cheerleader from Edna, Texas, was revealed.
In a recent interview with KPRC 2, Bryce Newberry had the opportunity to speak with the cheerleader’s mother.
Jacqueline Medina expressed her regret for not being able to protect her.
Romero was taken into custody and is now facing charges of capital murder in connection with Lizbeth’s tragic death. Currently, he remains detained on a bond of $2,000,000.
According to the chief, it remains unclear whether Medina and Romero were acquainted with each other.
The chief also mentioned that due to limited resources in Jackson County, the investigation process may take some time.
