Couple Who Stole $1000 Lego Sets Elude Investigators’ Search
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying two individuals who stole two big Star Wars Lego sets from a Costco store in Westlake Village.
According to officials, the theft took place on November 5th and it involved stealing two Lego sets that were worth more than $1,000.
The Sheriff’s Department released photos of a man and woman who are being sought in connection with the theft.
According to investigators, the man took a shopping cart and filled it with merchandise. He then proceeded to push the cart through the emergency exit and load the stolen items into a Kia Soul that was being driven by the woman.
The Sheriff’s Department is making an appeal to the public to come forward with any information regarding the couple in question. They are urging individuals to call L.A. Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submit tips anonymously online.
