Kelly Clarkson amazes in a waist-cinching snakeskin skirt that leaves fans speechless
Kelly Clarkson has just been in New York City for about two months, when she began season five of her eponymous talk show from her new studios Rockefeller Plaza, but she has swiftly adapted to the city.
That begins with her style, which has evolved from her previously frequented Californian breezy maxi dresses to far more edgy styles perfectly suited to the concrete jungle.
As the former The Voice coach prepares to spend her first winter in New York City full-time, she is not allowing the increasingly cold conditions dampen her edgy city style.
Kelly demonstrated this on the December 5 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, which featured Mario Lopez, Shane McAnally, and the cast of the Broadway musical Shucked.
Kelly astonished her admirers with her elegant clothing choice for the Tuesday episode: a black fitting turtleneck coupled with a striking, figure-hugging leather skirt with a snakeskin print that just touched the top of her incredibly high chunky black platforms.

Keeping the focus on the skirt, the “Since U Been Gone” singer accessorized simply with a sleek black belt, thin hoop earrings, neutral make-up, and a disheveled ponytail that wonderfully highlighted her latest hair transition, bangs.
Kelly’s fans flooded the comments section under the pictures with congratulations on her appearance as soon as previews from the episode were released on the show’s official Instagram page.
“Kelly LOOKS A-MA-ZING!!!” one fan appropriately wrote, as others followed suit with: “Kelly you look amazing! Congrats on your hard work! Happy for you!” and: “Kelly! You look stunning,” as well as: “Great outfit!!!!!” plus another one of her fans added: “Your look today is STUNNING.”
Kelly discussed her significant weight loss briefly on her show last month, in conversation with fellow NBC stalwart and Today Show host Jenna Bush Hager, as well as her twin sister Barbara Bush Pierce.
The three ladies first discussed weight when Jenna mentioned having a “chubby” stage as a child, causing Kelly to remark that she’s had “many stages.”
Later, when the host of 4th Hour with Hoda and Jenna bemoaned that she no longer fit into her sister’s clothes, Kelly replied, “I don’t fit into mine!” though she quickly added “I love losing weight –” before Jenna interjected with: “Are you joking me?! You look amazing!”
Kelly then clarified: “No wait, I love losing weight, but here’s the thing: jeans are so hard. I feel like jeans are so hard, when you have a butt…”
