In the Bronx, a man was fatally shot near a grocery store.
Sunday at 5 p.m., the sidewalk in front of the store at Grand Concourse and East 175th Street was cordoned off with police tape.
The man received a blow to the torso. Whether the victim was shot in the store or on the street is unknown.
Unknown are the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Two men fled the scene on a scooter toward Fordham Road, according to police.
There have been no arrests.
