NYPD reports fatal shooting of a man, woman, and dog in Manhattan
According to the NYPD, law enforcement officers came across a 57-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man who had both suffered gunshot wounds to their heads at West 165 Street and Edgecombe Ave. The incident occurred at around 6:31 p.m. Tragically, both victims were pronounced dead upon arrival at Harlem Hospital.
According to the authorities, the pit bull belonging to the woman was fatally shot during the incident, and the suspect reportedly fired multiple rounds at the couple before fleeing the scene.
The authorities have not made any arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
According to police sources, the pitbull involved in the tragic incident was named Zeus, while the victims have been identified as Jackie Billini, aged 57, and Levaughn Harvin, aged 42. As per the investigation, the suspect who shot the three victims is believed to have had prior contact with them.
