teenager found with loaded semi-automatic weapon by police in Brooklyn subway station
Police recovered a loaded, semi-automatic weapon from inside a subway station in Brooklyn.
At approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, transit officers stationed at the Van Siclen Ave J/Z train station in Cypress Hills witnessed a 19-year-old man enter the train platform by walking through the emergency exit gate.
The transit officers halted the teenager, whom they identified as a transit lawbreaker, and conducted a search of his possessions. During the search, they discovered a loaded TEC-22 concealed in a drawstring bag that he was carrying.
As a juvenile, Ferrell Tucker has been arrested once for felonious assault.
It is anticipated that Tucker will face charges for criminal possession of a weapon.
