Two individuals stabbed while entering a residence in Algiers
At 12:38 a.m., authorities received a call reporting an attempted illegal entry at a residence located in the 3300 block of Behrman Highway. The suspects, identified as Nadia Halum, 31, and James Carter, 43, were met with resistance by a 36-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman. The homeowners successfully fought off the intruders and even resorted to stabbing them in self-defense. Police responded to the scene promptly.
After the incident, Halum and Carter were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Following this, the police issued warrants for their arrest in connection with the events that took place.
