Charges Filed Against Coach and Aide from Glendale Elementary School for Alleged Molestation of Six Boys
George Gascón, the District Attorney of Los Angeles County, has recently revealed that a coach for after-school football and sports, who also worked as an aide for disabled students at elementary schools in Glendale, has been charged with the molestation of at least six boys. This is a disturbing and alarming case that has shocked the local community and raised concerns about the safety of students in schools. The accused individual will be facing serious consequences for their actions, and justice will be served for the victims and their families.
According to District Attorney Gascón, individuals responsible for the well-being of our children should serve as a source of inspiration and direction. They should create a secure and caring environment where our little ones can thrive and develop. It is truly devastating and unsettling when someone in a position of trust, particularly as a guardian to a vulnerable group of children, breaches the sacred bond that exists between educators, students, and their families. The community will not stand for such reprehensible actions.
The court has set the date for his preliminary hearing on October 19th, which will be held at Department H of the Los Angeles County Superior Court’s Pasadena Branch.
Additional individuals who may have been victimized have recently come forward and are currently undergoing interviews.
The Glendale Police Department is currently investigating the case and is urging anyone who may have been a victim of the defendant to contact them. If you have any information, you can reach out to the Glendale Police Department at (818) 548-4840 and request to speak with an assaults’ detective.
