New Charges Filed Against Federal Inmate in Alabama and 22 Other Gang Members Indicted

In Alabama, 23 individuals were charged with various offenses including drug trafficking, racketeering (RICO) conspiracy, and firearm violations in a 12-count indictment announced by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on November 14, 2023. The individuals were identified as associates of the S*x Money Murder (SMM) gang.
According to the release, out of the 23 individuals mentioned, a man was currently serving a sentence in a federal prison located in Alabama.
Sean Carr, aka Nut and Nutkase,51, of Federal Correctional Institution( FCI) Talladega is charged with RICO conspiracy and conspiring to possess a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
The sentencing timeframe varies for each charge. The breakdown of the sentencing for each charge is as follows:

- RICO: life in prison
- Narcotics conspiracy and trafficking: 10 years to life in prison
Members of the SMM were known to commit crimes at the behest of other incarcerated members. In cases where members suspected that a fellow member was collaborating with authorities, an attack would be carried out.
On November 24, 2023, the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) in Alabama transported Carr to Georgia following the release of a new indictment.
