Authorities Identify Lakeville Woman in Fatal Fall River Crash
Authorities have released the identity of the woman who tragically lost her life in a fatal crash on a Fall River highway in the early morning of November 17.
Christin Oliveira, a 37-year-old resident of Lakeville, was involved in a collision with an F-150 truck on Route 24 just before Exit 8 at 5:15 a.m. The incident occurred when Oliveira reportedly crossed over the guardrail and entered the left lane of the highway.
The woman was struck by the driver from Fall River, who was traveling northbound and unable to avoid the collision, as per reports.
Oliveira was declared dead at the scene.
The reason for the woman walking on the northbound side of the highway has not been disclosed by the authorities.
