A man discovered dead on I-5 near Boyle Heights has been identified.
The identity of a male individual discovered deceased on the Golden State (5) Freeway close to Boyle Heights was revealed on Friday.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, the individual who lost their life in the incident was Kevin Casado, a 28-year-old whose city of residence is currently unknown. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Officer Sean Lough from the California Highway Patrol, a distress call was received at 2:58 a.m on Thursday from the Soto Street on-ramp of the northbound freeway. Upon their arrival, the victim was found, as reported by City News Service.
