An enraged neighbor reportedly shoots and kills father and son during a heated argument in NYC apartment
According to the New York Daily News, a neighbor who was reportedly disturbed by the loud argument between a father and son in the hallway of a Brooklyn apartment building allegedly shot and killed both men. It’s a tragic incident that highlights the importance of maintaining a peaceful and respectful environment in shared living spaces.
According to reports, the individuals involved in the incident were engaged in an argument with each other in the fourth-floor hallway of the Flatbush Gardens complex in East Flatbush. The neighbor allegedly fired shots at the pair at around 10:35 p.m. on Sunday, as stated by the News. The police have confirmed that the victims were shot during the altercation.
As per the official statement by the NYPD, the two victims, aged 47 and 27, were fatally hit in the head and upper body, leading to their death at the location. The police have not yet released the identities of the deceased, and are currently in the process of notifying their families.
According to The Daily News, police were told by neighbors that the reason behind the shooting was the loud noise created by the two victims while fighting.
The New York Police Department has reported that no arrests have been made yet and they are still actively investigating the matter.
