Dead Body found on 50th Street identified as 26-year-old Birmingham man
Birmingham, Alabama (Uc Review) – UPDATE: According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s office, the victim in question has been identified as Tommie Lee Brown, a 26-year-old resident of Birmingham.
According to the Coroner’s report released on Tuesday, it has been confirmed that Brown suffered gunshot wounds. The Birmingham police are currently investigating the matter as a homicide.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.
At approximately 6:37 a.m., officers from the West Precinct were dispatched to 50th Street SW and Park Avenue SW in response to a report of an individual who was down.
As law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered a male individual lying motionless in a trench adjacent to the roadway.

As of now, the authorities have not taken anyone into custody concerning the incident. Additionally, the name of the victim has not been made public yet.
