A man was killed in a fourth New Jersey city shooting in 36 hours

According to investigators, the area of Broadway and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson has witnessed its fourth fatal shooting within 36 hours. This unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday, when a 23-year-old lost his life.

According to a statement from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, the man from Riverdale was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest. Medical assistance was immediately provided, and he was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. However, despite the efforts of medical professionals, he has pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

According to the office, two additional individuals were shot in the vicinity. One was a 19-year-old man from Elmwood Park, while the other was a 57-year-old resident of Paterson. Both victims were transported to the hospital, with the 19-year-old man in critical condition and the Paterson resident in stable condition.

The office is investigating the shooting and three other incidents that took place on Sunday. At this time, no additional details about the incident have been made available to the public.

Early in the morning, around 6:30 a.m., a tragic act of violence occurred in Passaic County’s biggest city. According to officials, the incident occurred in the vicinity of Park Avenue and East 22nd Street when law enforcement discovered a 19-year-old man from Paterson lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Sadly, he was declared dead after being rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

At present, the individual’s identity remains unknown as of Tuesday afternoon.

According to the office, the incident occurred near Highland Street and Park Place, where two individuals were found shot. The victims were identified as a 19-year-old male and a 42-year-old female, both city residents. The shooting occurred just before 12:30 p.m.

According to authorities, the man and woman were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center after the incident. Unfortunately, the man passed away due to his injuries, while the woman is currently receiving treatment.

The identity of the man has not been disclosed yet.

According to investigators, the third murder occurred at 9:22 p.m. near Van Houten and Cianci streets. A Paterson Police officer heard gunshots at the time, as per reports.

According to the office, a young woman from Paterson who was only 22 years old had been shot. The officers could locate her, and she was immediately taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, her injuries were too severe, and she passed away on Monday.

The office has not disclosed the identity of the woman.
