Manhattan hospital escapee sought by police
According to police, a prisoner has managed to escape from a hospital located in Manhattan in the early hours of Monday morning. The authorities are currently conducting a search operation to locate the escaped individual.
According to the NYPD, a 36-year-old man left Mount Sinai Hospital located on the Upper West Side around 12:40 a.m. and was last spotted walking towards Ninth Avenue while heading westbound on 59th Street.
According to the police, the suspect was apprehended for petit larceny on Sunday. However, it remains uncertain as to why he was later transported to the hospital.
