Marjorie Taylor-Greene Threatens Retribution: “We Could Take Joe Biden Off the Ballot in Red States”
MTG claims Biden is committing treason?
On December 21, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Greene, a prominent and polarizing Republican from Georgia, made an appearance on conservative broadcaster Newsmax. During the interview, she passionately expressed her ongoing anger and frustration over the treatment of the one-term former president, Donald Trump.
MTG expressed frustration regarding the recent exclusion of Trump from the Republican primary ballots in Colorado. The court ruled that Trump’s actions violated the Constitution, leading to his disqualification from running for public office again under the 14th amendment.
According to Marjorie Taylor-Greene of Georgia, she believes that the way her political idol is being treated justifies taking action to remove the Democrat and legitimate President of the United States, Joe Biden, from ballot papers in Republican-led states.

MTG expressed it in the following way:
“If the Democrats want to start making these rules, well guess what? We can use the same exact rules. For example, we could take Joe Biden off the ballot in red states and other states, because he is committing treason with his border policies.”
President Biden responded to the news of Trump’s issues in Colorado, implying that he believed the court’s actions in that state were legitimate and justifiable, considering the former president’s past actions.
MTG equates decision with communism
On December 19, after the news initially broke, she expressed her anger on Twitter, as she often does. In her response, she accused the Democrats of communism for their actions against Trump, who had lost the election three times.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Georgia Republican, has frequently made the claim that communism is creeping under the Democrats. She recently expressed her disgust over the arraignment of former President Trump, who has been facing multiple criminal charges. However, these claims seem to conflate the principles of communism with what others would consider as the proper legal process.
President Trump will win at SCOTUS and will win even bigger in Colorado now that Democrats have shown their full face of communism to the people.
And we must never forget what they have done and how far they are willing to go to steal elections. https://t.co/TkVacVpHt0

Other Republicans more measured in their response
Various figures within the wider Republican party have expressed their outrage, claiming that the treatment received by Trump is unjust, according to reports.
News broke that another candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, vying for the Republican nomination, promptly expressed his intention to voluntarily withdraw his name in Colorado as a show of solidarity with Trump. However, not everyone was as swift to follow suit.
Florida’s Governor, Ron DeSantis, faced criticism from Laura Loomer, a staunch supporter of former President Trump, for not strongly condemning the actions of the Colorado court. Loomer expressed her dissatisfaction, stating that DeSantis becomes more “unlikeable” with every word he utters.

On @NEWSMAX moments ago, @RonDeSantis was asked by the show host if he is going to stand in solidarity with @VivekGRamaswamy and also remove himself from the GOP primary ballot in Colorado since President Trump has been removed from the ballot.

Marjorie Taylor-Greene of Georgia, on the other hand, has shifted her focus from the initial outrage and is now contemplating a retaliatory move: the potential removal of Biden from ballot papers in Republican states. It remains to be seen whether her latest idea will materialize.
