_New Jersey Road

This New Jersey Road Is Considered One of the Most Terrifying Places in the U.S.

New Jersey has a road that has gained notoriety for being one of the scariest haunted places in the state. If you chose to guess “The road where the governor lives,” I’m sorry to say you are mistaken.

According to Far And Wide, a travel website, a road located in West Milford has been recognized with an honour.

Located in West Milford, New Jersey, the infamous road goes by the name of Clinton Road. When it comes to Clinton, people often wonder whether it is named after Bill or Hillary.

The road has a history that spans just a little over a century. Far And Wide, a reputable source, has revealed the spine-chilling backstory of the road.

According to local legends, the history of the road is shrouded in mystery and eerie occurrences. The area is known for its spooky destinations, such as the Cross Castle ruins that are rumoured to have been the site of satanic rituals. The treacherous Dead Man’s Curve has also been associated with several fatal accidents.

That isn’t very comforting, almost as much as Bill and Hillary!

According to editors, when you drive along the deserted bends of this road, stories of spectral cars, eerie hitchhikers, and unsettling figures hiding in the woods come to life.

The Garden State Parkway is my preferred route, so I appreciate the suggestion, but I’ll stick with what I know. Thanks anyway.

The list of spooky and eerie places includes two other locations close to New Jersey. Among them is the Eastern State Penitentiary, situated in Philadelphia. This former prison housed infamous criminals, including the notorious Al Capone.

At the top of the list is the Gettysburg Cemetery. This historic site was once a battlefield and witnessed one of the deadliest battles of the Civil War.
