Multiple counties charge Indiana man with child molestation
A man who was previously accused with sex offenses against children has now been charged in additional Indiana counties.
Eric Adam Riggs, 37, was arrested in September by Indiana State Police for child molesting and other sex crimes in Washington County.
Forensic interviews with victims were conducted through the Indiana Department of Child Services, as were interviews with Riggs and various searches of digital devices, vehicles, and locations.
Riggs, of Memphis, Indiana, was arrested on Nov. 30 on counts of child molesting, sexual misconduct with a minor, and child exploitation.
Riggs has been imprisoned since his arrest, but information from the Washington County case led to additional charges in Clark and Scott counties, including child molesting, sexual misconduct with a minor, and child exploitation.
According to state police, the case is still under investigation.
