Multiple mass shootings over Halloween weekend claim the lives of at least 6 and leave over 40 injured
Officials have reported that several mass shootings took place across the country during the Halloween weekend. Tragically, at least six individuals lost their lives, while over 40 others were injured in these senseless acts of violence.
A tragic incident took place at a party held in a room at a business located in the 700 block of N. Stateline Avenue around 9 p.m. on Saturday. Regrettably, three people lost their lives and three others sustained injuries in the unfortunate incident that occurred in Texarkana, Texas.
According to a statement released by the Texarkana Texas Police Department, the incident began with a physical altercation between two men at a party. Shockingly, during the altercation, two men produced rifles and began firing shots.
A tragic shooting incident occurred, leaving six individuals with gunshot wounds. The victims ranged between the ages of 19 to 31, and unfortunately, one man passed away at the scene. The situation took a turn for the worse as a woman and another man succumbed to their injuries and passed away at the hospital overnight. My heart goes out to their families and loved ones during this difficult time.
According to authorities, the hospital reported that the three additional victims, consisting of two men and a woman, sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Thankfully, they are currently receiving medical care and are in the process of recovering.
Authorities are currently on the lookout for Breoskii Warren, a 20-year-old individual who has been named as a suspect in the shooting case. Detectives are working tirelessly to locate and apprehend him.
Texarkana law enforcement officials are urging individuals with any knowledge about the shooting or Warren’s current location to step forward and provide assistance.
