Murder-suicide suspected as man and woman found dead at NJ home
According to reports, the tragic discovery of two deceased individuals inside a house in Bergen County on Saturday has been determined to be a murder-suicide.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, law enforcement officials were summoned to a residence in New Milford at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Upon their arrival at 250 Myrtle Street, law enforcement officials discovered the remains of two individuals within the residence.

The individuals who lost their lives were identified by officials as Giovanni โJohnโ Emmolo, aged 80, and Marina Perez, aged 56.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, the shooting is being classified as an “isolated incident.” Unfortunately, no additional information has been released regarding the specifics of what occurred.
According to an article from The Daily Voice, unnamed law enforcement sources and family members suggest that the incident could have been a murder-suicide. The report states that Emmolo and Perez had ended their relationship prior to the tragic shooting.
