New details disclosed in fatal Alabaster car crash
According to recent reports, more details have emerged regarding the apprehension of a man arrested in connection to a fatal car accident in Alabaster last month. The incident resulted in the tragic death of an 11-year-old boy.
Eldin Ulloa, a 20-year-old resident of Bessemer, has been taken into police custody and charged with several serious offences. The charges against him include three counts of third-degree assault, one count of first-degree assault, and one count of reckless murder.
On August 27, the crash occurred where Ulloa was found driving at a speed of 82 in a 45-mile-per-hour zone and ran a stop sign, leading to a collision with another vehicle, as per court documents.
According to Detective Andrew Rowan of the Alabaster Police Department, Ulloa’s 11-year-old brother was tragically killed in the crash above.

Ulloa is currently held at the Shelby County jail without possibly posting a bond.
