On Monday evening, a vehicle collided with a tree in Lakewood, resulting in the driver’s death and one passenger sustaining injuries.
According to the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of East Carson Street and Clubhouse Drive at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Monday.
Upon the arrival of the deputies, the driver was declared dead, while the passenger was taken to an unknown condition hospital.
Investigators are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unclear at this time.
