Officials have reported that a body was discovered on Monday morning on an on-ramp of the northbound 605 Freeway located in the Whittier area.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at approximately 8:50 a.m. near the on-ramp of Rose Hills highway.
The body was found by responding officers, however, it remains unclear how and when it was placed there, as well as the cause of death. The identity of the deceased individual has not yet been determined.
During the ongoing investigation, authorities issued a SigAlert for the on-ramp.
