Orange County Man’s Punishment for Involvement in Fatal Road Rage Accident
Today, Anthony Jones from Walden, a resident of Orange County, will receive his sentence for his involvement in a fatal road rage accident that resulted in the loss of three lives.
According to officials, Jones flew angrily towards the van driver transporting eight passengers on Route 17.
Jones’ rash decision to strike the van in anger ultimately led to the fatal crash in 2021.
According to the district attorney’s office, Jones has been found guilty of manslaughter and could receive a sentence of up to 15 years. Additionally, he may face an additional 7 years for the assault charges brought against him.
