CSPD: Shots fired in overnight home invasion

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), an individual has been apprehended following an alleged home invasion and disturbance involving shots fired overnight on Monday, November 20.

According to CSPD, there was a report of shots fired in the 4300 block of Morning Sun Avenue near Austin Bluffs Parkway and North Academy Boulevard at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, officers were informed that an apartment had been invaded.

According to authorities, the resident of the apartment discharged a firearm at the intruder who had allegedly entered by force.

Police arrested Skyler Cisneros, the suspect, on burglary-related charges after finding him nearby. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries during the incident.
