KCPD continues investigation into suspicious death of identified 5-year-old boy
Kansas City Police have identified the 5-year-old boy whose death is under investigation as suspicious.
Grayson O’Connor, a 5-year-old child, tragically passed away on Monday, according to authorities.
Investigators have determined that O’Connor fell from the apartment building before his body was discovered, after reviewing security camera footage in the vicinity of 1000 Grand Boulevard and the Grand Boulevard Lofts.
KCPD detectives are currently investigating O’Connor’s death to determine whether it was a homicide or a case of child neglect and endangerment.
The Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) stated that they are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident where a child fell from an apartment window. While the exact details of how it happened are still unknown, authorities are working to determine the cause of the incident.
According to the police, O’Connor’s mother was taken to the hospital on the day of the incident and is currently being investigated.
